About the tournament

A Coach's Legacy

This March, we will hold our 2nd Annual Coach K Bayly  Tournament to honor a LEGEND in the softball community. Coach Kaylyn Bayly pushed for excellence both on and off the softball field. She was all about teaching student-athletes that being a person of good character and integrity is most important in life, and getting to demonstrate it while playing softball is a bonus; respecting the diversity of others and valuing relationships is invaluable. Kaylyn demonstrated and taught the definition of Respect to the fullest.

Our Mission

Our goal is to continue to honor Kaylyn’s legacy by mentoring through our coaching techniques and awarding players who deserve the funds raised for this tournament. Each team's coach will choose a senior player who demonstrates excellence, leadership, and respect both on and off the softball field to receive the scholarship.

How You Can Help

With donations from local businesses, families, and school support, this event will award college scholarships to players from each of these schools. where it all began

A Coach Bayly vs Mr. Coach Bayly game took place in 2016 where Lake Brantley beat Countryside 2-1 on a questionable call, on LBHS’s field.

In 2017, Lake Brantley visited Countryside here at Canterbury where Lake Brantley won

4-1 on a 3 run HR in the 10 th inning.

Coach K Bayly got her last revenge when

Countryside beat Lake Brantley 5-4 in the finals of the Doc for Life Tournament

in Ocala, when Brantley had won 9 games in a row.
